In a series of essays, I will explore the impact of a global pandemic on the delivery of healthcare in the USA, as well as the impact of infectious disease on various parts of our lives.
I am a semiretired Infectious Disease consultant in Minnesota—in the “heartland” of the United States. In addition to caring for patients, I have also led Infection Prevention activities at large healthcare systems.
Additionally, I have an MBA from the University of Minnesota, with in interest in the medical industry. I am an Affiliate at the Medical Industry Leadership Institute of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
